Very cool piece. The flowy tree element totally guides my eye from the elves to the bg army. Nice play with the light overall. It would be cool to see some more foliage or something in the foreground to show them hiding even more. Totally optional though, cool stuff man!

Nice work Jeff. I love the alla prima textural brush strokes used in this and also the recent wotc pieces you have done. If you wanted a really minor nitpick I would like to see a slightly more subtle transition between those areas and the more polished focus areas. Some of those textual strokes on the characters would really help tie them into the scene, hope that makes sense. Love it either way though :)
